LLOYD CRACKNELL (Costume Designer) is Assistant Professor of Costume Design at The University of Oklahoma and comes from Cambridge, England. Mr. Cracknell’s regional design credits include: Sooner Theatre: The Full Monty. Reduxion Theatre: A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Much Ado About Nothing; Richard III. OKC City Rep: Biloxi Blues. St. Gregory’s University: Hedda Gabler; Leonardo and the Flying Machine. Waco Civic Theatre: A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Man of La Mancha; You Can’t Take it With You. Waco Children’s Theatre: Beauty and the Beast; Oliver; andGrease. In conjunction with World Literature Today 2011, Mary Stuart by Dacia Maraini, also as an invited production at the Festival Delle Due Rocche 2011 in Arezzo, Italy. In 2010, Mr. Cracknell was awarded the KCACTF Region VI National Partners of American Theatre Scholarship, for best design in all categories of theatrical design, for his costume design for Is He Dead? and the Barbizon Award for theatrical design excellence in costume design for Is He Dead? and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He also earned the coveted Design Excellence Award, the highest award in all design categories at KCACTF Nationals 20101 in Washington, DC. Mr. Cracknell has had an extensive career in fashion, designing in New York, Milan and London for internationally-known fashion houses such as David and Elizabeth Emanuel and Versace.
